How Trackrr handles your data.

Trackrr collects information you provide or create when using the service. This may include your email address, password-related authentication data handled by Firebase Authentication, timer entries, clients, projects, tags, hourly rate settings, display preferences, and Google Calendar connection status.

When you connect Google Calendar, Trackrr stores the tokens needed to create calendar events for finished timers. Trackrr does not ask for broad calendar access beyond the permissions needed for the feature currently provided.

Trackrr uses information to:

• create and secure your account;
• save and display timers, clients, projects, and reports;
• remember profile and product settings;
• create Google Calendar events when you enable that feature;
• understand website usage through analytics when enabled;
• maintain, debug, and improve the service.

Trackrr uses Firebase Authentication for login/register features and Firebase Realtime Database to store user app data. Firebase is provided by Google.

Firebase Realtime Database Security Rules are designed to control read and write access to database paths. Trackrr uses Firebase user authentication so account data can be associated with the correct user.

If you connect Google Calendar, Trackrr uses Google Calendar API access to create calendar events from timers you finish. Event details may include timer name, project name, client name, start time, end time, and tags.

Trackrr does not use Google Calendar data for advertising, does not sell Google user data, and does not use Google Calendar data to build unrelated user profiles.

Trackrr's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Trackrr uses, or may use, Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use the public website. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id>.

Trackrr does not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers needed to operate Trackrr, including Google Firebase, Google Calendar APIs when connected, Google Analytics when enabled, and hosting providers such as Netlify.

Information may also be disclosed if required by law, to protect rights and security, or to investigate misuse of the service.

Trackrr keeps account and timer data while your account is active or while needed to provide the service. You can delete or change some information inside the app.

If you disconnect Google Calendar, Trackrr removes the stored Calendar connection details used by the app. Events already created in your Google Calendar may remain there unless you remove them in Google Calendar.

You can choose not to connect Google Calendar. You can also manage or delete cookies using your browser settings. If Trackrr adds paid or subscription features later, additional choices and terms may be presented before you use those features.

Trackrr uses Firebase Authentication and access controls to support account-based access. No service can guarantee perfect security, so you should use a strong password and keep your login details safe.

Trackrr may link to external services or documentation. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
