What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage, can also store information in your browser. They help websites work, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use a service.
How Trackrr uses cookies
Trackrr uses cookies and similar technologies to provide the service, keep account-related features working, remember product preferences, and measure usage of the public website.
We do not use cookies to provide a Chrome extension, payroll, invoicing, or advertising features.
Google Analytics
Trackrr uses, or may use, Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic and product interest. Google Analytics helps report statistics such as page visits, session activity, browser/device information, and approximate location.
Google says GA4 JavaScript tags use first-party cookies to distinguish users and sessions. Common GA4 cookies include _ga and _ga_<container-id>, which Google lists with a default expiration of up to two years.
Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses according to Google's Analytics data safeguarding information.
Cookie list
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|

| _ga_<container-id> | Google Analytics | Persists session state. | Up to 2 years by default |
| Trackrr app storage | Trackrr | Supports app preferences and account experience. | Varies by setting/browser |
Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you delete existing cookies, block cookies, or choose which sites may store them. Blocking some cookies may affect parts of Trackrr that rely on account access or saved preferences.
